Pool electrical work is not something you want to cut corners on. Water and electricity are an unforgiving combination, and when you're dealing with a commercial facility, the stakes are even higher. This was a job we did in partnership with Garrett Construction right here in Longmont, and it's a good example of what it looks like when everything gets wired up the right way.

Here's what we were working with - a full mechanical room housing multiple Jandy variable-speed pumps, filter systems, a spa and pool circuit setup, and all the control and automation components that tie it together. Each pump had to be properly wired and connected to its control unit, and the piping layout had to work alongside the electrical without creating a mess that's impossible to service later.

The wall-mounted electrical work tells its own story. Conduit runs were organized cleanly, junction boxes were placed where they need to be, and the Levolor electronic water fill system for both the pool and spa sides was wired in and ready to go. That kind of system handles automatic water level management - one less thing for a facility manager to think about. Getting it integrated correctly on the first pass matters.

Commercial pool electrical is one of those specialties where experience really does show in the finished product. The circuits have to be properly sized, the equipment has to be grounded correctly, and everything has to meet code - especially in a wet environment. We take that seriously on every job, whether it's electrical maintenance on an existing system or a full new installation like this one.

Working alongside a contractor like Garrett Construction makes for a smooth job site. When the trades communicate and coordinate well, the end result is a system that runs reliably and is easy to maintain down the road. That's what we aim for every time.
